Here’s another fresh green tea in our collection. It’s the spring harvest of 2024 from the Jiangsu province.
Flavor profile: warm milk, poppy seed bun, watermelon, a hint of pumpkin seeds, and lots of floral-spicy combinations. No smoky notes here. It’s reminiscent of light oolongs with a subtle fire. In the aftertaste, there’s sweetness and creaminess. If you want the perfect taste, take 3−4 grams per 100 ml, heat the water to 80 °C, and pour swiftly. If you’re not into elaborate brewing, steep 4 grams in a 200 ml mug and start sipping after a minute. It holds up to 5 honest infusions, then starts gradually fading.
Like all green teas, it’s rich in caffeine, amino acids, and polyphenols, so a few cups in the morning will surely wake up your sleepy brain and lift your mood. A must-have in hot weather, especially when served cold. Classic!
