This is a 100-gram wild tree Ye-Sheng cake from Da Xue Shan — Big Snow Mountain. Harvested, fermented, and pressed in the spring of 2024.
Flavor profile: melon, dried mango, pineapple, carrot, fir, cabbage, berries, rhubarb, lime, honey. The overall profile is not like classic Sheng (such as apricot or dried fruits). Bloomer unfolds with herbaceous and fruity exotic notes.
The aftertaste is long-lasting with sweetness, acidity, and spiciness, but without any harsh bitterness.
You can easily get a liter of tea from 5−6 grams. It’s not afraid of boiling water, but it’s better to brew it quickly, like a ninja, for the best flavor.
I approached this description several times due to the relaxing effect of Ye-Sheng and the warm feeling in the body — cozy vibes :) Bloomer subtly but noticeably relaxes, doesn’t energize, and puts you in a meditative state. Feeling sad? Empty? Bloomer will help (:
